The project utilizes MINIEYE's self-developed L4 autonomous driving system, deeply integrated with roadside perception. This enables full-scenario autonomous driving under open road conditions. Equipped with a dual-channel 5G communication system, the minibus can receive panoramic traffic data from roadside units in real-time. Combined with a high-precision positioning module, the vehicle achieves accurate spatial-temporal synchronization, ensuring smooth autonomous driving at speeds up to 40 km/h on complex urban roads.
The iRobo minibus offers three key technological innovations: end-to-end large model technology for improved decision-making accuracy in complex environments, a high-performance vehicle computing platform with dual-redundant 5G communication, and a full-link data loop ensuring real-time cloud interaction for continuous system iteration.
Notably, MINIEYE has partnered with 35 vehicle manufacturers for mass production projects as of December 2024. Moreover, the company is working to seamlessly transferring its expertise from passenger cars to autonomous minibuses.
