August, 2008 sales ranking of A sedan from Japan's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Corolla amounted to 11,658 units, up 48.02% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking of A sedan from Japan's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Civic amounted to 6,646 units, down 2.98% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 59,317 units. August sales of the Corolla EX reached 5,881 units, increasing 40.02% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 37,200 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
