August, 2008 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 37,516 units, down 7.81% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of SAIC-GM amounted to 32,185 units, down 12.60% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 305,468 units. August sales of SAIC-VW reached 31,059 units, decreasing 26.53% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 332,127 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
