August, 2016 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 162,032 units, up 23.76% year on year, the first on August, 2016 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of SAIC-GM amounted to 155,562 units, up 22.17% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,113,456 units. August sales of SAIC-VW reached 147,281 units, increasing 16.89% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 1,248,016 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
