Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Sportage-R amounted to 7,597 units, up 399.47% year on year, the first on May, 2018 sales ranking of compact SUVs from Korea's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Hyundai ix35 amounted to 5,962 units, up 629.74% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 51,026 units. May sales of the Tucson reached 3,070 units, decreasing 39.42% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 31,091 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
