May, 2025 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 147,546 units, up 8.90% year on year, the first on May, 2025 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 126,070 units, up 8.17% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 547,952 units. May sales of Tesla reached 61,662 units, decreasing 15.03% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 292,875 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
