May, 2025 auto sales ranking by all brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 348,393 units, up 10.52% year on year, the first on May, 2025 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of VW amounted to 147,546 units, up 8.90% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 731,336 units. May sales of Geely reached 126,592 units, increasing 34.94% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 681,593 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
