Top 10 BEV Models by 2017 Sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- According to data released by the China Passenger Car Association, the total sales of new energy passenger vehicles in 2017 reached 560,000 units, jumping nearly 70 percent compared with a year earlier.

In 2017, the delivery of battery electric vehicles totaled 448,820 units, jumping 81 percent year on year and accounting for nearly 81 percent of new energy vehicle sales volume in 2017.

In the last month of 2017, the sales of new energy vehicles soared 132 percent to 98,000 units. And the sales growth rate of battery electric vehicles in December, 2017 was also 132 percent. The A00-class electric vehicle sales were 50,000 units, skyrocketing 182 percent and accounting for 61 percent of new passenger vehicle sales.
