GAC NIO's HYCAN 007 hits the market with post-subsidy price starting at RMB262,600

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The HYCAN 007, the first mass-produced model of GAC NIO's NEV brand HYCAN, officially hit the market on April 10 with its three variants (the BASE, the PLUS and the TOP) priced between RMB262,600 and RMB303,000 after subsidy.

The automaker also launched two tailor-made versions with post-subsidy price starting RMB340,000 and RMB400,000 respectively.

The “007” features a closed-off grille that is trendy among BEV models. Unlike the concept unveiled in last May, the mass-produced one carries a cleaner internal grille structure. The daytime running lights are shaped like a pair of symmetrical “7s”.

The motif of the number “7” can be seen in many other places, one of reasons naming the car “007”. At a closer glance to a wheel, you will find a “7” located between two blue spokes. Besides, the numerical element is also used in taillights and the interior's center console display.

the “007” features a unibody design, which means the vehicle's body and frame are one, similar to a metal cage. By largely using high-strength steel in the car body, the developer tries their best to protect drivers and the vehicle. The massive black panoramic sunroof is designed to satisfy the taste of the young generation.

The all-electric SUV measures 4,879mm long, 1,937mm wide and 1,680mm tall, and its wheelbase spans 2,919mm.

Powered by a 73kWh battery pack, the BASE has a NEDC-rated range of 523km and can sprint from 0-100km/h in 8.2 seconds. It can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in 33 minutes using a fast-charging mode and in 6.2 hours under a slow-charging mode.

The PLUS and the TOP feature a large of portion of power performances in common. Both of them carry a 93kWh battery pack, which offers the vehicle a NEDC-rated range of up to 643km. Besides, they do 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds, and from 30% to 80% of battery capacity can be charged within 7.9 second using fast-charging mode.

Engineered to be a human friendly full-electric SUV, the “007” features quite a few smart technologies, such as the Level 2 plus intelligent driving functions, the smart voice assistant dubbed “Little CAN”, the “flying shuttle” display composed of two 12.3-inch screens and a 10.1-inch screen, the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) system and the vital sign monitoring device.
