Car and City: ZEEKR 001’s June 2022 registrations fall 6.4% MoM

In June 2022, the monthly registrations of the ZEEKR 001, the first and only production model under Geely Auto's premium car brand ZEEKR, reached 4,044 units, sliding 6.4% over the previous month, according to data compiled by Gasgoo Auto Research Institute (“GARI”).

Retail and fleet registrations of the ZEEKR 001 reached 3,438 and 606 units last month, respectively.

By the end of June 2022, there had been 24,376 ZEEKR 001s registered across China cumulatively, 18,810 units were registered in the first half of this year.

In June 2022, there were only two cities whose monthly registrations of the ZEEKR 001 exceeded 200 units. Shanghai took a significant lead with 787 ZEEKR 001s registered, outselling the runner-up (Hangzhou) by 438 units. Ningbo, where ZEEKR's intelligent factory is located, failed to enter the top 15 cities rankings.

Regarding the registrations for the first six months of the year, Shanghai surpassed Hangzhou to the highest place among all cities. Besides, the other three metropolises—Shenzhen, Beijing, and Guangzhou—all got a spot on the top 10 cities list.
