Car and City: ZEEKR 001’s monthly registrations hit new high in Oct. 2022

In Oct. 2022, the monthly registrations of the ZEEKR 001, the first production model under Geely Auto's premium car brand ZEEKR, hit a record high of 9,566 units, jumping 19.14% over the previous month, according to the data compiled by Gasgoo Auto Research Institute ("GARI").

Retail and fleet registrations of the ZEEKR 001 stood at 8,623 and 943 units last month, respectively.

Among the ZEEKR 001s registered last month, 7,942 and 1,624 units featured a guidance price of 299,000 yuan ($41,840) and 386,000 yuan ($55,010), respectively.

By the end of Oct. 2022, there had been 54,688 ZEEKR 001s registered across the Chinese mainland cumulatively, 49,122 units were registered in the first ten months of this year.

In Oct. 2022, Hangzhou still topped other cities in China with 1,477 ZEEKR 001s registered, which were even more than the sum of the No.2-No.4 cities. Two cities in Zhejiang provinces—Wenzhou and Taizhou—ranked fifth and sixth, respectively, by Oct. registrations of the ZEEKR 001.

Regarding the ZEEKR 001 registrations for the first ten months, Hangzhou still outperformed others and was the only city with over 5,000 units registered. Shanghai was honored the runner-up city with over 3,000 ZEEKR 001s registered through the Jan.-Oct. period.
