NETA Auto ships 3,600 NETA Vs to Thailand

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NETA Auto, a Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker under the company HOZON Auto, set sail for overseas market with a single-batch shipment of up to 3,600 NETA V battery electric vehicles (BEVs) leaving Guangzhou Nansha Port on March 21, according to a post on NETA Auto’s WeChat account.

The shipment marks a key step for NETA Auto in its quest to deepen its presence in the global NEV market, said the automaker.

NETA Auto has been accelerating its global business development since 2022, adhering to its "deeply rooted in ASEAN, globally deployed" overseas strategy. The company has established a European business unit and a Thai subsidiary. Besides, it has launched three models overseas, including the NETA U international version, the NETA V international version, and the NETA V right-hand drive version, with sales in the markets of ASEAN, South Asia, and the Middle East.

The NETA V’s right-hand drive version hit the Thai market in Aug. last year. Coming with six exterior color options, it has a range of 384 km and is equipped with multiple intelligent niceties, including a 14.6-inch borderless central control screen, a 12-inch instrument panel, cruise control, keyless entry, and button-free start.

Up until now, the Chinese NEV maker has already delivered over 2,000 NETA Vs in Thailand.

On March 10, NETA Auto broke ground on its eco intelligent plant in Thailand, which will become the startup’s main manufacturing base for right-hand drive electric vehicles and export to the ASEAN region.
