Chery Holding introduces iCAR new energy vehicle brand

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 16, Chery Holding held a launch event for its iCAR new energy vehicle-dedicated brand, and unveiled two of the first iCAR vehicle models at the same time.

At the event, Chery Holding put on display the iCAR GT and the iCAR 03, and announced that there will be a total of six vehicle models under the iCAR brand, ranging from ARV, SD, SUV, and MPV categories.

The iCAR GT is a two-door coupe sedan designed under iCAR’s “Boundless Arc of Light” (name translated from Chinese) language, presenting a stylish, minimalist, and futuristic sense. Meanwhile, the iCAR 03 is a new energy SUV specially created for younger generations, meeting the generations’ versatile mobility needs.

Moreover, the automaker also introduced the i-MS new energy vehicle architecture, the i-VA ecosystem. Riding on the i-MS architecture, iCAR will be able to develop diverse products, and realize precise intelligent vehicle control functions via the i-VA ecosystem.  

In addition, iCAR established a joint ecosystem alliance with multiple high-profile companies, including CATL, Tencent, JD.com, Alibaba Cloud, China Mobile Industrial Research Institute, Bosch, Qualcomm, etc.
