NETA AYA SUV hits market to replace NETA V

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 3, NETA Auto, the new energy vehicle maker under HOZON Auto, put its new "five-seater spacious intelligent all-electric SUV", the NETA AYA, onto the market. As the successor to the NETA V, the NETA AYA comes in four trim levels with prices ranging from 73,800 to 88,800 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the NETA AYA basically retains the design of the NETA V but makes adjustments to various details. The front grille is now larger and features a matrix-style chrome decoration, enhancing the overall delicacy of the front face. Additionally, ventilation openings have been added on both sides, adding a sporty touch.

The side profile of the vehicle remains almost unchanged. Moreover, two new dual-color options, black/baby blue and black/half-sugar milk tea, have been introduced to give a more upscale and sporty visual effect.

Regarding dimensions, the NETA AYA maintains the same length, width, and height as its predecessor at 4,070mm/1,690mm/1,540mm, with a wheelbase of 2,420mm.

The most noticeable change in the rear is the adoption of a through-type taillight design, making it more distinctive when illuminated. The rear bumper has also been redesigned with straight lines.

Inside the cabin, the NETA AYA follows the layout of the NETA V, equipped with a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel that now includes adaptive cruise control buttons. It also features a 14.6-inch central control screen placed in portrait orientation, powered by an 8-core 7nm MT8675 in-car chip. The new UI design supports AI voice assistants for easy interaction. The air outlets adopt a through-type design, and there is a new column gear shifter.

Moreover, the interior of the NETA AYA now adds two color options: misty blue and optical white, catering to the aesthetic preferences of young consumers.

In terms of power, the NETA AYA provides two drive motor options with maximum power outputs of 40 kW and 70 kW. The variants equipped with the 40 kW electric motor can reach a top speed of 101 km/h, with a 0-50 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. On the other hand, those equipped with the 70 kW electric motor can run at a top speed of 121 km/h, with an 0-50 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

As for range, the NETA AYA offers two choices with CLTC operating conditions: 318 km and 401 km. The 401-km model also supports V2L (vehicle-to-load) function rated at 3.3kW.
