Geely unveils images of GEOME E Firefly edition

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Geely's battery electric vehicle (BEV) range, GEOME, unveiled a series of official images and configuration details of the GEOME E Firefly ("Yinghuochong" in Chinese pinyin) edition.

It has been disclosed that the GEOME E Firefly is set to hit the market in mid-August.

With a profound philosophy of evoking surprise, romance, and beauty while embracing a delightful lifestyle, the GEOME E Firefly edition captivates with its fresh and enchanting design, said the carmaker. The vehicle introduces three distinct exterior colors: Jasmine White, Mint Green, and Sakura Pink, each corresponding to three natural interior themes - Twilight White, Stone Green, and Cloud Pink. The broad, grille-style front fascia is adorned with "Firefly Eyes" LED headlights and radiant LED light strips, capable of delivering a number of lighting effects.

The side profile showcases the GEOME's hallmark dual waistline design, bestowing the vehicle with crisp, dynamic lines and an impressive visual presence.

At the rear, the Firefly edition boasts luminous LED tail lamps in a firefly-inspired flow pattern and sporty dual winglets, imbuing the entire vehicle with a sense of modernity.

Inside the cabin, the GEOME E Firefly edition is equipped with a column-mounted shifter and a dual 10.25-inch touch screen setup. Moreover, the vehicle is adorned with an array of convenience and eco-friendly features. These include the trendy "touchless" start system, 6-way adjustable driver's seat across all trims, heated and defogging rearview mirrors, and a CN95-grade cabin air filter coupled with a fresh air system.

The GEOME E Firefly boasts Level 2 intelligent driving assistance, offering features such as ACC (adaptive cruise control), AEB (automatic emergency braking), LDW (lane departure warning), and IHBC (intelligent high-beam control) to ensure driving safety.

In terms of storage, the GEOME E Firefly introduces a layered and sunken storage space in the trunk, maximizing utility. The rear seats offer two 6.2-liter Tatami storage compartments, along with multiple thoughtful hooks for various scenarios.

Addressing the critical aspect of range, the GEOME E Firefly comes equipped with choices of two lithium iron phosphate batteries: 29.67kWh and 39.3kWh, coupled with a 60kW liquid-cooled three-in-one electric drive system. With a maximum power of 60kW and peak torque of 130N·m, the electric drive's overall efficiency exceeds 87%. The CLTC range stands at 301km/401km for the respective battery options. Charging capabilities include a 52kW fast-charging system (charging time ≤30 minutes, SOC 30%-80%) and a standard 6.6kW onboard charger, supporting a maximum 3.3kW V2L (vehicle-to-load) output.
