Changan's Lumin mini EV to introduce fast-charging variant with range of 301km

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 8, Changan New Energy made an official announcement that its mini electric vehicle model, the Changan Lumin, is set to welcome an additional variant with a fast-charging capability and a CLTC range of 301km later this month.

The existing Changan Lumin offers four different variants with prices ranging from 49,900 yuan to 69,900 yuan. In addition, Changan is also offering potential buyers substantial incentives, including up to 10,000 yuan in discounts and attractive financing options.

The Changan Lumin is built on the all-new EPA0 electric platform and is positioned as a pure electric microcar. Its compact and adorable exterior design, along with a charming front headlight style, adds to its appeal. 

The vehicle features a two-door, four-seat layout, with dimensions of 3,270mm in length, 1,700mm in width, and 1,545mm in height, and a wheelbase of 1,980mm. Inside the cabin, you'll find a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a central floating LCD screen, and various functions like reverse camera, smartphone connectivity, voice control, and Bluetooth for music and calls.

In terms of power, the new fast-charging model boasts a maximum electric motor power of 35kW, a battery capacity of 27.99kWh, and an impressive CLTC range of 301km. It also comes with the charging reservation feature. Its chassis features a front MacPherson and rear coil spring integral bridge suspension system.
