Stepping into the interior, the vehicle offers two color schemes, with a 15.6-inch central display and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster. While incorporating modern touchscreens, the dashboard maintains a user-friendly approach with some physical buttons. The center console, featuring straight lines, piano lacquer panels, and metallic embellishments, creates a visually appealing hierarchy. The infotainment system includes popular social and entertainment apps like iQIYI and QQ Music.
The car introduces a distinctive "Recliner Design," allowing the front seats to recline 180° to align with the rear cushions, forming a flat surface resembling a recliner. The trunk capacity reaches 540L, and beneath the carpet lies a hidden 33L storage compartment.
In terms of power, the PHEV version combines a 1.5L engine and an electric motor within the Wuling Lingxi plug-in hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum power of 106 horsepower, while the electric motor reaches 177 horsepower. The engine adopts such technologies as the intake system, Atkinson cycle, low-pressure cooling EGR, DLC diamond-like coating, split cooling, and efficient electronic water pump to contribute to a peak thermal efficiency of 43.2%. The car is equipped with an electromagnetic single-speed DHT transmission, paired with an electromagnetic clutch that reduces weight by 5% compared to traditional hydraulic clutches, minimizing energy loss.
The Wuling Xingguang PHEV is equipped with the Wuling Shenlian Battery in two capacities: 9.5 kWh and 20.5 kWh, providing ranges of 70 km and 150 km, respectively. With an IP68 protection rating and a precision Intelligent BMS system, coupled with the cloud-based AI-BMS system, the battery enables real-time intelligent diagnostics and accurate early fault warnings, according to the automaker.
