Chery kicks off pre-sale of Fulwin A8 new energy sedan, starting at 130,000 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 24, Chery's new energy vehicle range, Fulwin (also known as 'Fengyun' in Chinese), officially kicked off pre-sale for its first flagship model, the Fulwin A8 sedan’s 127 Extended Range edition, with a price range of 130,000 yuan to 150,000 yuan.

As Chery's fresh addition to its new energy vehicle lineup, the Fulwin sequence amplifies Chery's presence in the hybrid electric vehicle domain. The A8, serving as the debut model for the Fulwin series, incorporates the automaker’s Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM technology.

Powered by the comprehensive Kunpeng C-DM technology, the Fulwin A8 effortlessly handles various driving scenarios with ultra-low fuel consumption. The fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI highly efficient hybrid engine boasts an industry-leading 44.5% engine thermal efficiency. It achieves a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of 4.2L/ 100 km.

The A8 not only excels in high energy efficiency but also offers an extended range, eliminating range anxiety for users. Its CLTC-rated battery-powered range reaches 127km, while its WLTC-rated comprehensive range exceeds 1,400+km.
