GAC AION sees 1 millionth vehicle roll off production line

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On the morning of December 28, a Hyper HT all-electric SUV smoothly rolled off the assembly line at GAC AION's Smart Ecological Factory, marking a significant milestone of one million vehicles produced by GAC AION, the new energy vehicle unit of GAC Group.

This achievement comes as the Yinpai Battery Intelligent Eco Factory completed its construction and officially started production this month, signifying GAC AION's comprehensive integration of the entire energy ecosystem, including upstream raw materials, R&D, manufacturing, battery recycling, and cascading utilization. GAC AION said it stands out as the sole automotive enterprise in the industry with a fully connected energy ecosystem and one of the very few globally to achieve full-stack, in-house development and production of batteries.

Currently boasting a dual-brand matrix comprising "AION + Hyper," GAC AION is strategically positioned for upward momentum. The vigorous efforts in propelling the high-end luxury brand, Hyper HT, contribute significantly to GAC AION's continuous improvement in profitability.

In addition, the introduction of the AION LX L4 Robotaxi, a fully self-developed autonomous vehicle, further cements GAC AION's presence in the intelligent transportation sector. The vehicle is now undergoing vehicle-grade pre-installation testing, placing GAC AION at the forefront of innovation in smart mobility.

GAC AION recorded impressive sales figures for November, with 41,567 units sold, marking a remarkable 45% year-on-year growth. Cumulatively, from January to November of this year, its sales surged to 434,056 units, representing an 80% year-on-year spike.
