Changan UNI-Z PHEV goes on sale, starting at 117,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile officially put its compact SUV, the UNI-Z under the UNI series, onto the market on March 28. The new vehicle is available in three different variants, with prices ranging from 117,900 yuan to 131,900 yuan.

In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,730mm long, 1,890mm wide, 1,680 (1,660) mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,795 mm. The UNI-Z is equipped with Changan's latest Blue Core iDD plug-in hybrid electric system, offering a battery-powered range of 125 kilometers.

In terms of appearance, the UNI-Z inherits the distinctive design language of the UNI family, featuring a borderless grille combined with a parametric dot matrix design. This design enhances the visual width of the front end, creating a stronger sense of futurism and technology. The front headlights adopt LED lighting units with sharp flowing contours, giving the entire vehicle a more dynamic look.

As for the interior, the Changan UNI-Z adopts a wrap-around cabin design, exuding an overall sense of luxury and technology. Of particular interest is the large floating central control screen. Combined with a hierarchical information layout, it adds a more intelligent and entertaining human-machine interaction experience. The central console, armrest box, and side door panels are all wrapped in large areas of soft leather, creating a high-quality interior ambiance.

Notably, the central area of the UNI-Z's central console, near the windshield, features a component in the shape of a battleship with luminous lights resembling a nuclear reactor. This component is an all-new ambient light that interacts with the vehicle's driving status, providing users with an immersive futuristic driving experience.
