BAIC BluePark’s May auto sales jump 33% YoY

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 3, BAIC BluePark, the parent company of BAIC BJEV, released its production and sales report for May 2024. The data shows that BAIC BJEV sold 5,433 vehicles in May, marking a 33% year-on-year jump.

In the first five months of this year, BAIC BJEV's cumulative sales reached 18,437 units, representing a decrease of 23.07% compared to the same period last year. Despite this overall decline, the company's sales have been on an upward trend month-over-month, with April's sales figures at 2,882 units.

Currently, BAIC BJEV encompasses two major brands, namely, ARCFOX and BEIJING. The ARCFOX premium electric vehicle brand boasts six models available in the market.

Additionally, the STELATO S9 flagship electric sedan, which is co-developed by BAIC BluePark in collaboration with Huawei, kicked off presale on May 31. The presale price range for the STELATO S9 is between 450,000 yuan and 550,000 yuan. According to the brand, the vehicle will hit the market in early August this year.
