BYD's Tang DM-i 175KM Intelligent Driving Long-Range Edition hits market

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 16, BYD officially rolled out the Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving 175KM Long-Range Edition in China, offering three trims priced between 179,800 yuan and 199,800 yuan. The company also announced a 10,000-yuan price cut for the Tang DM-i 115KM Premium Edition, now starting at 169,800 yuan.

The new Intelligent Driving 175KM variant introduces a "Liuguang Silver" exterior and a "Xiafei Red" interior scheme. All trims come standard with a column-mounted electronic shifter and physical shortcut buttons. From the mid-range trim onward, a 6.9-liter onboard refrigerator is included, with a temperature range from –6°C to 50°C, controllable via voice or physical buttons, and featuring delayed power-off for added convenience.

On the intelligent side, the model is equipped with BYD's advanced DiLink 100 system powered by a 6nm D100 chip delivering 136K DMIPS of computing power. It supports full-scenario voice interaction, smartphone integration, karaoke without a microphone, 3D vehicle control, and over 1,000 voice-enabled in-car functions.

In driver assistance, the vehicle features a DMS fatigue monitoring system, while higher trims adopt the LiDAR-based DiPilot 300 "God's Eye B" suite with 30 sensors, enabling highway NOA (navigation-on-autopilot), city NOA, parking, and safety functions.

Powertrain highlights include BYD's fifth-generation DM plug-in hybrid electric technology with a dedicated 1.5Ti engine and EHS200 system. The model accelerates 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. A new 26.6-kWh Blade Battery offers 175 km CLTC-rated pure-electric range and 1,240 km combined range, with 53-kW DC fast charging enabling 30%–80% recharge in 20 minutes.
