Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Chery amounted to 27,363 units, down 29.26% year on year, the first on May, 2008 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Geely amounted to 16,278 units, up 15.36% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 97,727 units. May sales of BYD reached 10,267 units, decreasing 2.72% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 48,735 units.
