Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 65,756 units, up 1.21% year on year, the first on May, 2008 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 48,043 units, up 68.65% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 234,072 units. May sales of Honda reached 42,170 units, increasing 58.29% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 192,933 units.
