Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 23,500 units, up 196.98% year on year, the first on September, 2008 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the September sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 23,254 units, down 42.25% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 268,229 units. September sales of Geely reached 17,351 units, decreasing 2.91% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 159,669 units.
