Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 64,612 units, down 29.96% year on year, the first on January, 2009 sales ranking by all brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Honda amounted to 37,714 units, up 16.75% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 37,714 units. January sales of Hyundai reached 35,183 units, increasing 21.88% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 35,183 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
