Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 92,468 units, up 16.37% year on year, the first on April, 2009 sales ranking by all brands, according to the April sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 50,217 units, up 79.56% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 159,289 units. April sales of Toyota reached 44,368 units, decreasing 10.66% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 144,347 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
