Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 95,658 units, up 45.47% year on year, the first on May, 2009 sales ranking by all brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 50,487 units, up 83.36% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 209,776 units. May sales of Honda reached 44,536 units, increasing 5.61% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 202,034 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
