Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 110,137 units, up 69.67% year on year, the first on December, 2009 sales ranking by all brands, according to the December sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 68,366 units, up 52.57% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 626,874 units. December sales of BYD reached 60,139 units, increasing 283.27% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 448,300 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
