May, 2010 sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Chery amounted to 45,216 units, up 33.05% year on year, the first on May, 2010 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD amounted to 45,020 units, up 37.96% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 253,651 units. May sales of Geely reached 30,016 units, increasing 3.06% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 172,963 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
