Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Chery amounted to 49,820 units, up 34.43% year on year, the first on August, 2010 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD amounted to 31,069 units, down 19.01% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 353,121 units. August sales of Geely reached 25,451 units, increasing 8.83% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 252,645 units.
