May, 2011 sales ranking of compact SUVs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Hyundai ix35 amounted to 9,680 units, up 77.35% year on year, the first on May, 2011 sales ranking of compact SUVs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Tiguan amounted to 9,181 units, up 49.38% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 53,701 units. May sales of the Qashqai reached 6,976 units, increasing 37.30% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 36,227 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
