May, 2011 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 131,839 units, up 15.49% year on year, the first on May, 2011 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 61,884 units, up 10.50% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 308,337 units. May sales of Nissan reached 58,485 units, increasing 10.22% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 309,783 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
