Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Chery amounted to 40,643 units, up 18.51% year on year, the first on July, 2011 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the July sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD amounted to 27,496 units, down 16.79% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 259,915 units. July sales of Geely reached 24,580 units, decreasing 6.27% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 240,031 units.
