Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Excelle amounted to 23,700 units, up 16.88% year on year, the first on August, 2011 sales ranking of sedans, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Passat amounted to 22,015 units, up 153.78% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 101,118 units. August sales of the Corolla reached 20,044 units, increasing 50.22% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 106,550 units.
