August, 2011 sales ranking of compact SUVs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 16,911 units, up 40.83% year on year, the first on August, 2011 sales ranking of compact SUVs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Tiguan amounted to 13,301 units, up 42.76% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 87,322 units. August sales of the Hyundai ix35 reached 8,294 units, increasing 1.63% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 66,412 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
