Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Hyundai ix35 amounted to 8,294 units, up 1.63% year on year, the first on August, 2011 sales ranking of SUVs from Korea's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Sportage-R amounted to 4,649 units, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 41,713 units. August sales of the Sportage reached 3,048 units, decreasing 43.50% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 29,481 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
