Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 141,943 units, up 6.19% year on year, the first on August, 2011 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 80,759 units, up 37.36% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 476,744 units. August sales of Nissan reached 65,194 units, increasing 30.62% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 518,004 units.
