January, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Geely amounted to 38,477 units, down 16.23% year on year, the first on January, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 36,817 units, down 52.85% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 36,817 units. January sales of BYD reached 30,121 units, decreasing 42.14% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 30,121 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
