Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 141,534 units, down 16.59% year on year, the first on January, 2012 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Buick amounted to 70,947 units, up 1.97% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 70,947 units. January sales of Nissan reached 67,251 units, decreasing 12.22% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 67,251 units.
