Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 170,091 units, up 29.01% year on year, the first on May, 2012 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 75,549 units, up 257.75% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 346,227 units. May sales of Nissan reached 71,163 units, increasing 21.68% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 368,708 units.
