July, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of Chery amounted to 38,778 units, down 4.59% year on year, the first on July, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the July sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Geely amounted to 33,681 units, up 37.03% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 256,890 units. July sales of BYD reached 25,035 units, decreasing 8.95% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 231,902 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
