Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 182,340 units, up 28.46% year on year, the first on August, 2012 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 75,158 units, up 19.23% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 511,960 units. August sales of Toyota reached 69,519 units, decreasing 13.92% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 561,970 units.
