December, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 61,039 units, up 17.36% year on year, the first on December, 2012 sales ranking by China's brands, according to the December sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Geely amounted to 56,760 units, up 25.54% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 491,444 units. December sales of Chery reached 55,852 units, decreasing 5.40% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 533,165 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
