August, 2014 sales ranking by all brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 216,734 units, up 4.41% year on year, the first on August, 2014 sales ranking by all brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 84,005 units, down 0.06% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 717,144 units. August sales of Toyota reached 73,141 units, increasing 15.65% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 582,452 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
