Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 247,849 units, up 7.88% year on year, the first on May, 2018 sales ranking by all brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 114,293 units, up 23.42% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 501,275 units. May sales of Geely reached 113,834 units, increasing 48.58% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 601,176 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
