Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 255,168 units, down 0.73% year on year, the first on August, 2018 sales ranking by all brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Geely amounted to 111,848 units, up 15.85% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 940,203 units. August sales of Toyota reached 111,280 units, increasing 23.47% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 841,038 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
