Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 277,082 units, down 20.09% year on year, the first on January, 2019 sales ranking by all brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 158,069 units, up 22.19% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 158,069 units. January sales of Geely reached 145,805 units, decreasing 2.09% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 145,805 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
