Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 47,302 units, up 3.58% year on year, the first on September, 2004 sales ranking by all brands, according to the September sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Honda amounted to 22,269 units, up 78.41% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 135,459 units. September sales of Hyundai reached 12,087 units, and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 64,608 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
