Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 36,404 units, down 19.43% year on year, the first on August, 2005 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Honda amounted to 22,025 units, up 29.80% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 165,270 units. August sales of Hyundai reached 15,070 units, increasing 56.86% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 119,874 units.
